So I've been called a heretic, an evil doer, and an anti-easter-er and I'm sorry. Manda came by and brought some hard-boiled dyed eggs to us, Mom called to wish us a happy bir..err..Easter (she sang it in the form of happy birthday), and I was given the evil eye by all churchgoers as I drove or walked by in my scrubbies for the day. For some reason Easter is one of those holidays that sticks out as a child's holiday (not that I am above child's holiday's or things childish - as you all know) and for the last few years I haven't done anything on Easter. Feels like any other Sunday to me. Well since I haven't posted in a while I thought I would explain what I did on my day which was just as great as any ham, bunny, or basket of treats. Brandon, the pups, and I went up to the tennis courts above 11th avenue and played with the dogs this evening. The weather couldn't have been better! It was a beautiful day and a beautiful time to be spending with my family. Since I couldn't be with the Roarks (sorry) this would have to do. We take Lily up there because she would attack small children and large dogs if she had the chance. Since they haven't put up the nets yet it is a perfect pin to play with her so she can stretch her legs and run around. They are the cutest pups ever!
I know to some of you I promised a Lily vomit blog entry - and it will come...but I am on a diet and need to get on the elliptical. I will post again very soon with a title "My diet plan and Lily's diet plan" which will explain it all. Can't you just wait?
Enjoy our pics!

Why do you hate me and all I stand for?
ReplyDeletewhat a great easter day, we wish you spent it with us though.
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with spending Easter with the Frazier's that do live near you? I'm a little offended. If you ever need family we are always around! By the way, I think it's a little creepy that you got a message from the Easter Bunny! He always creeped me out!
