The Ongoing Attack of the Dust Spider!

Many of you have already seen some evidence of our "dust spider" phenomenon through pictures on my phone. Here are the higher quality photos.

A while back I went to bed after having just worked on my computer. When I got up the next morning this essence of spider was marked upon my computer. How was it left? What kind of spider would leave such a mark of evil as this? We thought that maybe there was something having to do with the electronics of the computer...don't know what...just a theory. I googled "dust spider"and found nothing. There the marked stayed for a few days until it was accidentally wiped off.

Whew...what a strange, rare, and bizarre thing to see....but it was gone. We'd never see something like that again...right??

We arrived home one night, flipped on the lights, and screamed in horror!

DUST SPIDER TWO!

Perched on our recently dusted secretary desk in our kitchen this shape, just like the other one, was the dust remains of another spider who had left it's deathly mark. Or maybe it was the same one? A spider that leaves its mark to let us know...it was here....

bizarre.

So we thought it was all done...nothing more to see here, right?

NO!

While straightening a desk in the office I was moving a bin of Red vines which I had purchased as a gift for someone when I noticed that the dust spider had returned...or another had left its remains...or whatever...

DUST SPIDER THREE!

When will we see the dust spider mark again? We don't know. Maybe it is a foreboding sign of things to come...maybe...we don't know.

But if one day you hear that I have died please have them check my body. For there could be somewhere on my corpse the mark of....THE DUST SPIDER!

  3. My vote is still for the spontaneous combustion of the spider! YUCK! I think I would move and see if the dust spiders follow you there. Has Brandon ever seen one at work...........or is it you they are after :)

I have been looking into it but I can not find anything on the Internet, apart from your post.
so the question is, what is it? Are the dangerous? Did you find out what the 'dust spider' is actually called??
